The Professional Teachers’ Council NSW Board of Directors has the pleasure of inviting you to join representatives of our professional teaching associations and
invited guests at the PTC NSW Awards Evening on Wednesday 24 February 2027.

This gala occasion recognises and celebrates the important and valuable work of professional teaching associations during 2026, and is an opportunity for the education profession, across all sectors to meet socially.

  • Media Award

  • Excellence in Leadership and Advocacy for the Teaching Profession
  • The Professor Dame Marie Bashir Medal
  • The NSW Minister for Education Association of the Year Award

These awards are an acknowledgment of the important contribution made by recipients to the teaching profession across all sectors through their association, and to other significant stakeholders to education in New South Wales.
